Wheat Free Dessert Ideas

When you and your children live on a wheat free diet, it is sometimes hard to satisfy your sweet teeth. That doesn’t have to be the case, however. There are plenty of wheat free dessert ideas you can enjoy.
First, check out your local specialty or health food stores. They will likely have a range of boxed cake, muffin and brownie mixes that do not use wheat products, as well as pudding and gelatin.
Be sure to look in their frozen section as well, where you may find wheat free ice creams and frozen treats. Of course, you can also find premade cookies, muffins and cakes that are wheat free in these stores, and in specialty online shops.
Fruit-based desserts are a good place to start when you want some wheat free dessert ideas at home. Apple crisp is a favorite of many families, because it is easy to make, tastes comforting, and – in this case – contains not a grain of wheat!
